The human skeletal system is a complex organ in constant equilibrium with the rest of the body. In addition to the support and structure of the body, bone is the major reservoir for many minerals and other compounds essential for maintaining a healthy acid-base balance. The deterioration of the bone structure affects the elderly and most particularly women, who seem to be more susceptible to poor bone health starting at menopause. Issues such as osteopenia and osteoporosis, characterized by the weakening of the bone structure, can lead to bone fractures and other health problems that can be debilitating and life-altering.
Osteoporosis Drugs Are Dangerous!
Osteoporosis drugs like Fosamax, Bonita, Actonel, and others are called bisphosphonates. They do not cure osteoporosis, they do not build strong bones, and you can't take them for long because of their side effects.
Side Effects of Bisphosphonate Drugs:
1. Spontaneous fracture of femur (hip bone)
